Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou said at his pre-Premier League press conference ahead of their trip to Everton that senior defender Ben Davies is in contention to return to the squad, but hated striker Timo Werner is likely to be out for months.

Spurs have had a challenging season with a number of injured players, but Davies has recovered from a hamstring problem to make the trip สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที to Merseyside.

The Welsh defender has been link with a move away from north London in the January transfer window with Leeds United reportedly interest in a move for the 31-year-old. However, the left-back – who can also feature in the heart of the defence – has been out of action since the beginning of December with a hamstring complaint.

That has meant a central pairing of Radu Dragusin and 18-year-old midfielder Archie Gray, with right-back Djed Spence deputising at left-back to good effect. While it hasn’t been ideal, the fill-in candidates have impressed; but the return of another defender will be a welcome boost for Postecoglou.

But the likes of Werner (hamstring), Brennan Johnson (calf) and Yves Bissouma (muscle) are all likely to miss the game at Goodison Park.

“Two or three players had pain from the game in midweek,” Postecoglou said.

“We still have to wait for Brennan Johnson, he complained of a little bit of a calf injury, Yves Bissouma has some body aches.”

“Still waiting for more information about them.”

“The one who comes back, Ben Davis, should be involve.”

“Timo Werner undergoes MRI scan”

“He sprained his hamstring, so he will be out for 3-4 weeks.”
